Bryan Austin with Clint Black

Bryan Austin is a product of his environment. Born and bred on the influences of a pure Mississippi music, it seems that he came into this world playing his own tune. The southern lullabies of his childhood were good to Bryan, preparing him for the life that was to come. Growing up as an affluent saxophone and guitar player, he soon found his voice as well-in the Mississippi Honky Tonks. In an industry that talks "the power of paying your dues", Bryan has done just that and more. He honed his skills in high school playing music five nights a week, to help support his siblings. In fact, it was while playing in a home town night club, that Bryan had a chance meeting with a Nashville Manager. Shortly after, Nashville came calling and a recording contract with hCapitol Records followed. Industry mainstay Keith Stegall produced Bryan's album, released in 1994. Also a talented songwriter, Bryan had the opportunity to write for his album, with songwriting greats such has Kim Williams and Neil Thrasher. The album produced two charted singles and videos, "RadioActive" and "Is It Just Me".

Bryan has had the pleasure of appearing on tour with the likes of musical greats such as, John Anderson, Patty Loveless, The Mavericks and Steve Wariner, just to name a few. As a career highlight, in 1997 Bryan was nominated for a Grammy Award, for his guitar work on "The Brickyard Boogie", recorded with Steve Wariner- for his critically acclaimed instrumental record entitled "no More Mr. Nice Guy". They lost the Grammy that year, to Chet Atkins, but in hearing Bryan tell the story, he wouldn't have had it any other way. "Just having your name appear in the same vicinity as Chet Atkins, is enough"! It was also Bryans friendship with Steve Wariner, that led to meeting Clint and his band, Bryan has experienced quite a ride. Recording on Clint's albums, new songs, new tours, new places all the time, but the one constant is the endless talent that makes up the band that he gets to share the stage with every night. "It's a blessing to really enjoy going to work everyday and I think there is a peace in knowing that you get to bring little light into other peoples lives with what you do, even if it's just for an hour a night. It's what we are all really put here for."
Be sure to check Bryan playing his CA guitars on the road this year with Clint Black.

Surfing around digg.com I noticed your blog bookmarked as: Blogger:
Composite Acoustics Artist Action. Now I am assuming you
bookmarked it yourself and wanted to ask if social
bookmarking gets you a good deal of traffic? I've been contemplating doing some social bookmarking for a few of my websites but wasn't
certain if it would generate any positive results. Thank you.

Hmm it appears like your blog ate my first comment (it
was super long) so I guess I'll just sum it up what I submitted and say, I'm thoroughly
enjoying your blog. I as well am an aspiring blog writer but I'm still new to the whole thing. Do you have any suggestions for rookie blog writers? I'd certainly appreciate it.
